The Rockies are now 2.0 games behind the Dodgers in the National League west the Dodgers will win the west by winning one of the three games while the Rockies needs to sweep the Dodgers to win the west and then the Dodgers will be the wild card.

And at Comerica Park in Detroit the Minnesota Twins by a score 8-3 to denied the Tigers of wrapping up the A.L. Central the Tigers magic number is 2 a Tigers win combined with Twins loss will give the Tigers the A.L. Central Title and if the Chicago White Sox sweeps the Tigers in Detroit and the Twins sweeps the Royals a one game playoff will be at the Metrodome in Minneapolis on Monday time is TBD and the game will be broadcast on TBS.
